i just love this product.. . i needed something for my 3yr to turn the light on so i wouldn't have to keep getting up! this works great and it glows in the dark which he just loves. I have even suggested this product to others moms and they think they are great also!

I bought this item for my 19 month old little boy. He LOVES turning lights on and off by himself. We added this extender onto the light switch in his bedroom because we were moving him into a toddler bed. When we first put the extender on the light he flipped it on and off non stop for about 30 minutes or so. After that, he only turns it on when he is entering and leaving his room. He is always so proud of himself because he can turn the light on and off by himself.
The glow in the dark part doesnt really work but, we also use a night light so it wasnt a big deal.
Overall, I would totally recommend this to anyone.

Had seen these at a friends house years ago, before having my 4 yr.old son. I took too long in ordering them! (I had thought they were a bit pricey at the other websites i checked out, and shipping usually cost the same as the product itself. I should have thought of the "super saver shipping" option earlier!!) The price at Amazon is very reasonable, everyone else has them at same or higher price, and many don't have the double-pack option, so they come out pricier if bought individually. As for the product itself, it is very easy to install, you just need a screwdriver or two, so I was able to do it myself w/out the assistance of my oh-so-handy husband! They seem to be durable, they blend in w/ the wall, and they have solved the problem that was getting very tiresome of having to stop what i was doing to run and turn on the light for a little boy going to the potty! I think the package doesn't mention it (only certain ones did), but they do glow in the dark ever-so-faintly. However, I don't think they will be illuminated if your child wakes up at 3am to go to the bathroom, but that's nothing a regular night light won't solve. I ordered and installed 4, and am quite happy with them....thinking of ordering another two. (note: i was required to rate this as a "toy", but it is not a toy at all, it is simply an item to make your household life easier!)
